Intertwine with emotions of gratitude and hurt, I see.
At times it pains to think of who I wished I were,
But for now, I release the person waiting, and simply concur:
I am she, I'll be them, we all are who we've been,
I am the present moment.
I tell myself: She is me, I will be them,
We're all the ones before, I'm living this today.
